Sam has always had a love for dance but these four years was when she really discovered her passion for performing and choreographing.
Sam is currently finishing up her BA in dance with a minor in Education from The State University of New York at Buffalo where she has trained in many styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Social Dance, and Partnering. During this time, Sam has performed for Emerging Choreographer’s Showcase, Dancer’s Workshop, Zodiaque Dance Ensemble, and ChoreoLab, as well as choreographed for Emerging Choreographer’s Showcase and Dancer’s Workshop. In her junior year, Sam held an internship with the University at Buffalo’s Dazzler Dance Team where she taught and choreographed side line and half time routines for football and basketball games, including the MAC championship. In her senior year, Sam began teaching at an after school dance program for second and third graders with a few of her peers at the Build Academy in Buffalo, New York. Sam is so excited to be continuing her passion for dance and to beging teaching at Rising Stars School of Dance and Performing Arts this year!
