Miss Kathryn
Kathryn Falisi found her love for dance when she was 3 years old and took her first dance class at Rising Stars. Miss Kathryn has studied under the direction of the Rising Stars’ director Jody Myslinski and many other wonderful teachers. Miss Kathryn has always loved helping younger dancers further their knowledge of dance and has been a teacher’s assistant for many years helping with some of the youngest students in the studio to the competition students.
Miss Kathryn started her dance career learning ballet, tap, and jazz quickly finding her passion to be in tap dancing and expanding from hoofing tap to Broadway tap. Miss Kathryn competed in tap for many years and won multiple awards for routines she performed in. Along with Competitions, Miss. Kathryn had the opportunity to attend the Big Apple Tap Festival in New York and learn from many talented tap choreographers, including Avi Miller, Ofer Ben, Dianne ‘Lady Di’ Walker, Bob Audy, Justin Boccitto, Bril Barrett, and Logan Miller.
Along with teaching tap and working in the studio office Miss Kathryn has completed two years at Brookdale Community College and is starting her first year at Georgian Court University pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
