Valarie Curcurato has had a passion for dance for many years! She has trained in such genres as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap and Pointe with several instructors, including Dylan Pierce and Kelly and Brianne Legge. Continuing to cultivate, strengthen and add to her technique, she has, and continues to participate in several Dance Workshops such as The Pulse and JUMP convention. She is currently working toward her Bachelors of Arts in Dance as well as Bachelors of Science in Accounting at Georgian Court University. Some of her College Dance experiences include training in Ballet, Modern and Jazz with Silvana Cardell, William Robinson, Steve Vaught, Megan Mazarick, Sidra Bell, Erin Quinn Bonczek, etc. She has performed works choreographed by Silvana Cardell, Hee Ra Yoo, and Steve Vaughn to name a few. Master Classes include 10 Hairy Legs, Parsons Dance & Urban Bush Women. Valarie absolutely loves to perform and teach dance and has instructed students, ages 2-18 years, in Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Stretch & Flex, Leaps & Turns, Pointe and Baby Introduction to Dance.
For the 2017-2018 dance year Valarie will be teaching several classes including 6-8 Year Old recreational and various age competition students at Rising Stars. She cannot wait to share her love for the performing arts with her students, who will love her passion and dedication and will most certainly benefit greatly from her talent and skill! She is looking forward to sharing her love for the performing arts, teaching technique and developing skills while having lots of fun! Welcome Miss Valarie!
