2½ Year Olds - 3 Year Olds  -  2 Different Classes Available

Ballet/Tap/JazzIntro To Dance Class”:  Our 2½ -3 Year Old, Ballet/Tap/Jazz class is for young dancers from 2½ years through 3 years old. This class was especially created for the young dancer who is able to separate and be in the dance room without Mom or Dad. Parents can enjoy watching their little dancers while sitting outside the classroom and viewing their child(ren) on our closed circuit TV.

This creative movement class will expand on the ballet basics taught in the "Wee Dance" program as well as introduce the dancers to tap and jazz basics. Each week your dancer will follow a set curriculum especially designed for their age and ability. In addition to dance technique and terminology, your child will learn colors, shapes, the difference between their left and right hands/feet, while learning to socialize. Rhyme, rhythm, unique stories, props, beanbags, ribbons and more will be utilized to facilitate the learning process in a fun way.

The dance year culminates with a memorable recital routine at the beautiful State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ!

My Parent & Me Class "Mommy, Daddy, and sometimes Grandma & Me” is a class for young dancers from 2½ years through 3 years old. Mom or Dad will begin the year inside the classroom with their child to encourage him/her to participate and adapt easily into the dance class environment. In December or January, (or when your child feels more comfortable), Mom or Dad will be encouraged to sit outside the classroom and view their child on our closed circuit TV. This transition is a wonderful way to alleviate separation issues and allow your child to participate in class without assistance.
