Miss Cara Moskal

Ballet 2½ to 5 years old Creative Dance, Jazz & Pointe Instructor

MoskalCara Moskal brings over 7 years of ballet teaching experience to the Rising Stars family. Cara has extensive training in classical ballet from the Academy of Dance Arts in Red Bank, NJ. She performed many roles for the Company of Dance Arts as well as New Jersey's Metro Lyric Opera. While at the Academy, Cara completed four Pre-Professional Royal Academy of Dance exams, and received the highest merit of Honors. Following her time at the Academy of Dance Arts, Cara attended and graduated Muhlenberg College on a dance scholarship with a double major in Dance & Performing Arts and Media & Communications. While at Muhlenberg, she performed the works of renowned choreographers, including Antony Tudor's Continuo restaged by John Gardner and Amanda McKerrow of American Ballet Theater. Cara was recognized for her superb technique and performance quality and as a result was given the privilege of teaching for the Muhlenberg Community Dance Center. In addition to her responsibilities at the college, she was also the founder of a children's dance program at the YMCA.

Cara continues to take classes as well as attend teaching workshops throughout the region. This fall she will be entering graduate school, pursuing an Ed.M. in Dance. She prides herself on holding to the traditional ballet discipline, vocabulary, posture, and alignment and takes great pleasure in sharing a passion for performing with her students.
