Miss Amanda Manfredi
5 Year old Creative Dance Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary Instructor

ManfrediAmanda is new to the Rising Stars Staff but not new to dance. She started dancing at age 7 and has been a competitive dancer for most of her dance career winning many special awards. Amanda grew up learning jazz, tap, modern, ballet, hip-hop and lyrical - so she is a very well-rounded dancer. Her students know Amanda for her bubbly personality, her creative eye and her dedication. For many years Amanda was an assistant teacher and choreographer. She has an Associate's Degree in Dance from Dean College where she studied the art of choreography. During her time at Dean, Amanda studied Modern techniques: Horton, Limon and Graham as well as ballet, jazz, hip-hop and tap, creative movement for children and much more. As of July 2011, Amanda became Zumba certified under the direction of Tanya Beardsley. She is currently attending Montclair State University where she is a Dance Education Major. Amanda plans on becoming certified to teach dance K-12 and upon graduation become a full time teacher in a performing arts school. Amanda has taken many classes at Broadway Dance Center, Steps On Broadway, and has also attended many of "The Pulse" Conventions taking classes with Wade Robson, Brian Friedman, Brooke Lipton, and Cris Judd just to name a few. Currently, Amanda is a dancer for the Jersey Boxers Semi professional football team for the 2012 season. Amanda is a born teacher and only wishes to spread her love for dance to all students.
